Middletown Homes is growing its construction team and looking for an experienced Residential Finish Carpenter who takes pride in precise, high-quality work. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building, repairing, and refining the interior details that make a house feel complete. Your work will directly contribute to modular and manufactured homes built for families throughout West Virginia.

In this role, you will complete finish work on both new construction and existing homes, handling detailed interior elements such as trim, cabinetry, and doors. You will also assist with other finish trade tasks, including flooring and general carpentry work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair trim, baseboards, and moldings
• Hang doors and complete general carpentry work
• Install and repair drywall, vinyl flooring, tile, and carpet
• Assist with plumbing-related work, painting, and punch-list tasks
• Maintain strong craftsmanship, timelines, and budgets with minimal supervision
• Work safely and productively in varying weather conditions

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of carpentry or related construction experience required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work long hours in field conditions
• Strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
• Positive attitude, strong integrity, and effective communication skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally for projects, with company-covered costs
• Must be able to pass a post-offer drug screening, consistent with West Virginia and federal law

• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday
• Occasional travel within North Central West Virginia, with lodging and per diem provided for overnight stays
• $22 to $27 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
